Music Graduate Society of McGill University: A Call for Papers, Lecture-Recitals and Presentations The Annual Symposium of the Music Graduate Society of McGill University will take place at the Faculty of Music, McGill University (Montreal) on March 26-27, 1994. Graduate students in music and related fields are invited to submit their proposed project (paper, lecture-recital, presentation of a composition, etc.) before: January 10, 1994 *Interdisciplinary topics are encouraged.* Presentations should not exceed 30-40 minutes in length to allow for a subsequent 15 minute discussion/question period. Call for RILM Volunteers The United States Office of RILM seeks volunteers to write abstracts of books and articles in the fields of music theory and analysis, music and computer technology, and related disciplines. We especially encourage graduate students in these fields (even those in their first year of study) to participate. After all, it's one short step from keeping current with the literature to summarizing its content.
