Event Description and Information:

In collaboration with The College of Charleston, Lyrica will hold a day-long Symposium consisting of three colloquia (nine papers), on Saturday, May 13, 2006. Individually, the colloquia will focus on Mozart’s _Don Giovanni_, Gounod’s _Roméo et Juliette_, and on Opera in America.

Proposal Instructions / Guidelines:

Abstracts, not to exceed 500 words in length, should be sent along with resumes to lyricacsociety@aol.com with “LYRICA/CHARLESTON” in the subject line. Papers should not exceed thirty minutes’ length, including discussion time, and audio/visual requirements should be clearly indicated.
